Hi all,
Is anyone interested in some Warhammer on Sunday 17th?
As it's the all-day we could look at something like a larger game, with or without multiple players. Alternatively, we could do something like the random doubles which seemed to go down quite well last time.
I know a couple of the Warhammer stalwarts don't tend to make it onto the forum. I'd be much obliged if someone who does see this could see if any of them are interested as it's a little to far for me to come just to gauge interest.

I would be up for a multiplayer scenario, definitely. It seems like the sort of thing that might work well in the new edition.

Cool, both of you would be more than welcome. Ive got an idea for a 3 player scenario that should work quite well if no one else is interested. If we get a few others to join in then we can play random pairs or some other idea. Any preferences on points values? I think 2000pts could work quite well. Any bigger might slow the games down if we were to play in teams (4k points is already a sizeable game!) So thus far: 1/ John (Vampire Counts) 2/ Mike '954' 3/ Simon (O&G?) 4/ 5/ 6/ 7/ 8/ To everyone else: Go on, you know you want to  Again, as I said originally, it would be appreciated if someone would volunteer to ask a few of our warhammer stalwarts who don't make use of the forum if they're interested. |

I could go on a walkabout this coming Monday's club evening and spread the word if that's any good.
Edit: With regard to faction, I can field 2000pts of pure Khorne daemons. Alternatively, I am still painting up some Wood Elves, just a load of archers and a few wardancers to go now.

If you wouldn't mind Mike that would be great. I know Derek and a couple of others have played in events like this in the past but don't use the forum. It'd be a shame for them to not know, if they'd have played otherwise. Any faction is fine  |

Hi Rob,
Although the exact details would depend on how many people want to play I'd intend the scenarios to involve holding locations on the table (though NOT a building ala the watchtower scenario). That way it discourages players from sitting on the board edge.
If there's 4 players it'd be 2v2 games swapping sides around. 5 would be 1v1 & 1v1v1 with swapping teams around. 6: 2x 1v1v1 changing around etc.
If we start around 12:00? (is that the opening time at the club these days) we should be able to get a couple of games in and still be done around 17:00.
