Hello
I have some 10mm American War of Independence troops and need some advice on base size.
I know that Warmaster does 3 bases of 20x40mm.
Thing is I want to play Blackpowder and think I'll need 4 bases to represent squares. Originally went 6 bases of 20x20 with a unit being 24 models.
Think that does not look that great, so possibly thinking of increasing unit size to 30. Then possibly put them on 6 bases of 10x40mm. That would mean only one rank per base.
Does anyone who does 10mm have any suggestions?

If you want to go for black powder base size is up to you provided both sides are the same. Unit sizes can vary you decide what your standard unit is say 6 bases, then anything less is a small unit anything above a large unit. I would say that in 10 mm you really want to have the figures in two ranks on the bases, if not three.
