Dear All
I'd like to try running another one off RPG session in October. Is there any interest in any of the ideas below?
Hollow Earth Expedition (Pulp adventure system - think Indiana Jones, Lost World, King Kong - that sort of thing)
It is 1929 and a small English town auction house in Surrey is surprisingly busy. The auctioneer is initially pleased but then finds that the star of the auction, an antique watch, doesn't even sell. He looks around and notices some very odd people attending amongst the normal townspeople. Those two men in black leather coats and hats are odd. The old man in a worn out tweed suit seems vaguely familiar. There's also a glamorous blonde lady on the front row and giant of a man at the back dressed in an enormous pin stripe suit. What can they all be here for as they sit through lot after lot patiently?
Star Wars Roleplaying System - Saga edition
A long time ago… In a galaxy far far away…. the fledgeling rebel alliance has lost contact with its most useful agent; an imperial naval officer who didn't like the way things were going. His last message suggested he had discovered something important. A newly recruited group of agents is to be sent to infiltrate his imperial outpost to check it out. The rebel alliance have worked out a way you might get in - the rest is up to you….
Pathfinder RPG (high fantasy - update of Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 ed)
In the ancient moving city of Abelard, a strange toymaker famous for his magical clockwork toys has disappeared much to the annoyance of the city's parents as the winter festival is fast approaching. The local militia don't really care and the toymaker's new apprentice, inundated with orders he can't fill, is under pressure from customers but can't afford an experienced band of adventurers to investigate. Drowning his sorrows in local tavern he overhears a group of young adventurers who are eating what represents the last of their gold. Maybe there is a deal to be done?
Let me know if any of the above appeals to anyone and I'll develop the idea further. I'd need 4 to 5 players and I'm thinking that the October Sunday would be good.
