Although I have played wfb for years the other day I tried kow and have to admit I'm hooked. Yes its simpler in rules design, but this allows for larger armies and places more emphasis on tactics rather than list selection. If anyone fancies a game on monday (5th March) I am happy to teach as you can pick up the basics in 5 mins. However the rules, including army lists, are free on the mantic website if you want to look. Most wfb lists are covered by mantic rules but I do have two wfb armies that I can bring if required.
So just let me know chaps if anyone is up for a game.

Hello I've played quite a few times I have an Undead army can do any points say 1750 or 1500 on monday?
Have you ever played with clocks? You can play a game in about 2 hours which is pretty good.
Also what version of the rules do you have? The 2nd ed is on the website, but I have the 3rd edition draft with magic items. If you post your email address i will send it to you. Otherwise no problem, I will play with 2nd edition.

I have sent you my email address for those rules, sounds interesting. Ok I will bring my elves. Shall we say 1750 pts then? I have never played timed but it sounds good. Ok then mate I look forward to the game Monday, what time are you getting up there?
