Hi guys,
Is there anyone who'd like to get a game of new shiny 40k 6th edition in next Monday? I'm a bit of a newb, having not played since the very start of 5th, but wouldn't mind giving it a try to see how it's changed.

I'll probably be using Imperial Guard, unless you'd prefer to face nids, marines or necrons.

Could we make it 1200/1250? That'd make it easier for me to pull a force together and catch up on the rules.
I'll be bringing Guard/Marines depending on how this ally stuff works as that's what I've got. I'm happy to face whatever you want to bring.

Thanks for a great game Graeme and being patient with me. I liked the new rules and how they change the game. Definitely going to get painting on the Imperial Guard.

No problem, and likewise! I think we muddled through, although I did get a stern telling-off for being home late :-)
From what I've seen, I'm a big fan of these new rules. I do need to look at some kind of AA element for my lists though it seems - hoping for lucky 6s doesn't seem likely to cut it!
Would love to get another game in at some point - square or round bases.
