Traveler SF Roleplaying

I have mentioned as an experiment running a one off 1 or 2 session Traveller SF game would there be any interest in running this on one of the all day Sundays.

I imagine we would have to do the character gen beforehand I have a slightly tweaked method that I prefer.

This would be using the classic 3 black books traveller plus the supplements and probably using some elements of snapshot for playing out combat encounters.

Anyone interested if so what sort of group would you prefer as pc's a free trader crew(a bit like firefly) is the classic.

set in the third imperium and the abomination thats is Mega Traveler and Traveler NE is not to be mentioned.

Free Sunday's are a bit like Dragons teeth for me atm but I'm definitely interested if there is a group and I can make it. I've never tried Traveller before.

i think i need to have a chat with the interested players to get a feel what sort of game they prefer.

The classic free trader crew though I do have an idea for a mixed group hired as trouble shooters by the local Nobel which would suit a mixed milatery civilian group.
