ok, so I purchased Dreadball at Expo, Just opened the box.... are the minis supposed to come with bases??? Niel?

Don't think so Dave. The Kickstarter sets normally came with some 'bonus' clear hexes but I believe the standard box just has the little circle the model is cast onto. I think you can buy the clear hexes off Mantic if you're inclined to do so. Given that many of the models barely stand up at all without them it seems like a mistake not adding them to the normal set.

they should come with them as far as i know, as our free club set had them. best check with them Dave, as they may have been missed

As far as I'm aware, they were a kickstarter bonus. We've found them to be more trouble than they're worth though, unless you glue the minis in.

put ours in with clear double sided tape and they are better to play with as minis def stand up better

I wouldn't use them without attaching the models in some way, but they are definitely easier to use once you do. I just glued my models in, but I know others who use a little bluetac and tape like Carl suggests would work.
