Hi people Since Frostgrave is a new system and we are all at the bottom of the learning curve with it, I thought it might be helpful if we had a central place to ask (and attempt to answer) any questions anybody might have As a start point, there is a rules errata thread on the Lead Adventures forum site hereThis was set up, and is moderated, by Joe McCullough (who wrote the rule book), so it's a good place to to look for answers and even to ask specific questions He also has a personnel blog hereThere's a fair bit about Frostgrave here so could be another good place to look – unfortunately there does not appear to be a site search, so digging out any useful information might take some time And if any of you are interested here is the original start of what was to become Frostgrave So – any queries, quote here and we can discuss Regards Mike

Makes sense when you look at how it'd be an advantage - "one potential use for group activations would be to gang up on the enemy in combat. Move two or three models into contact with the same enemy model, then when they fight as their second action they could all get the bonus for friendly models in the same combat."
There do seem to be a lot of questions out there!! Pity they rushed it out rather than play testing a bit more...

Yep – even the author didn't spot that one (took a player to work it out) – although he did later confirm that it is a valid tactic

Regarding the question that came up last week, about when controlled creatures activate
This very question was asked on the forum (reply #47) and answered by Joe McCullough a little later (reply #49)
Essentially, they are considered to be soldiers for activation purposes (i.e. they can be activated in the wizard or apprentice phase (if they are close enough to said wizard), otherwise they activate in the soldier phase)

Hi People Last Monday's game raised a question regarding the Leap spell – specifically, whether of not can it be used as an offensive spell to, for example, move your opponent's wizard to somewhere more 'convenient' A search of the forum here reveals: Reply #32 – Lotan asked this very question (and pretty much covered all the potentially unbalancing aspects we identified) Reply #34 – Joe5mc (the system author) replied that Leap can be cast only on figures under your control So no, Leap cannot be used to move your opponents figures around
