Damon - you have got me interested in this game as well now!  You mentioned which themed gangs you are Carl were going for and I blatantly wasn't listening properly! Could you remind me so that I don't clash with either of you? I too am interested in IHMN, but would very much like to have a 'wee game' with borrowed toys before I spend money on another little project tbh. I know Maurice has a fair few 'leagues' so maybe that's a possibility. Currently I am re-painting my old west minis again ( for the third time I believe) and will most likely invest more in 7TV and Strange Aeons.

Hi Chris,
I'm not using any of the ones out of the book, but creating our own variants.
Carl's are going to be Arab Slaver types led by the sinister Omar Fek'iin Gawd while mine are a group of explorer/treasure hunter types led by the eccentric entomologist Sir Rufus D'Eath.

THAT's what I love about the IHMN!!! You can make as 'quirky' League as you like, read a few BatReps on Lead Adventure Forum, and one guy was playing with A Gentleman of Wealth and his Household staff (Cook, Chambermaid, Footman etc)!!! It looked awesome!!!
I am very interested in trying it out, so please give us a shout if you are having a game and I might be able to participate/ observe.

Myself & Carl had a bash at this yesterday - worked pretty well & was good fun. Actually taking people out is quite hard - but do-able as Carl proved when his bodyguards hacked their way through Sir Rufus's entourage....
I may plan a game of Dodo Hunt for a few weeks time which could be fun.....
