Good Afternoon Everyone - Ove, Alistair, Stephen and I played a game of Warlock on Monday (19th September). ( Thanks again gentlemen ) Warlock Entry at BoardGameGeekIt is a Games Workshop Classic from 1980. At 36 years old is it a possible contender for Trafalgar in the longevity stakes ? There was talk about its simlarity with another oldie the 48K Spectrum Game "Chaos". According to the Internet there is quite a connection between the two games ... Warlock and Chaos ArticleSee you on Monday (26th September) - TTFN, Matt PS: Having reviewed the rules I noticed we missed a couple of points: 1. Each Wizard who wishes learn spells has to provide 10 Energy Points from their total to be shared between the duelling Wizards before the Learning of Spells can begin. 2. Wandering Creatures can Wander to any Wizard. Not just those in the Duelling Arena !!!

Warlock was the game that, in 1980 at Games Day in London, I wanted more than anything else in the world. My dad overruled me and said: "Let's get this instead - it looks like it will be better". What we got was the Basic Dungeons and Dragons set and he was absolutely right.
Fortunately, with the advent of eBay, I was able to get Warlock too (many, many years later). Next: Valley of the Four Winds.
