Would there be any interest in a Shadow run game to run alternately with Mikes pathfinder one I have just got the new 5th ed rules and would be interesting in trying them out.

I would be interested, I've kept looking at the new rules but haven't bothered to pick them up. Shadowrun is one of my favourite settings.
However I'm currently involved in the Shadows of Brimestone campaign that Ove is running, so I'm probably not going to be free until perhaps March. If you can get a game going don't feel like you need to wait for me to become free.

I'd be up for giving this a go
Briefly played this (many, many years ago) with the core of the RQ group General consensuses was that the setting was great but the system left a lot to be desired
Mind you, that was under 2nd Ed (I think), so might be better now

I'd agree with that assessment on the 2nd Ed system. The basic dice pool mechanic worked ok, but the various sub systems for magic, decking, rigging, all felt clunky and a bit bolted on.
