Just a quick question, have I understood it correctly that for Rogues the Damage dice for Shuriken is upgraded from D4 to D6? It states in their Class Abilities that the Damage Dice is increased by one level.
P.S: Point taken John.

If that's true about Shuriken then I might pick up some of those instead of having a hand crossbow....hmmmm.

It's probably best not to talk about File Sharing on the forums, I know of enough forums that have been closed because of a complaint to the host about this and similiar matters and wouldn't want to see us getting kicked off of proboards. Ove, I'm sure other people have made similiar remarks on here and I'm not critising you for anything, I just think any discussion about this matter is probably best had outside of public view

What's the benefit of a Hand Crossbow? I admit my class is a bit of a blunt instrument but I couldn't work out why it was worth all that gold. Ove: D6 is the level up from D4, so if the rules say they get a level bump that would be it. Does that benefit only affect Shurikens? Thrown weapons? But not Crossbows? Although frankly D6 damage sounds kinda weak I'll stick to proper weapons that do real damage (and a sling for when I run out of bigger things to fling).

The major thing is that Rogues get to do Sneak damage with the Crossbow, and a lot of their powers can be used with the Hand Crossbow, which makes it pretty good for a ranged weapon.

The wording from the rules are: When you wield a shuriken, your weapon damage die increases by one size. And as far as I'm aware it's only for Shurikens, not other Thrown Weapons.

I think that's more to simulate that your Rogue knows how to hit really vital spots with them, so they do more damage.

What do you think the bigger things I might run out of are ;D I'm pretty sure I could chuck a Hobbit a good distance, my maximum lift is about 8 times their weight...

I think that you can hide hand x-bows Easily well compared to a full szie one - and they look cool.
