Myself and Brian played an enjoyable "friendly" WFB, my Gobbo's vs his new Ogres, next to us, Derek and Rob had a bit of Girl on Girl action !! (WFB Elves vs Elves) A tournie match, I think. Ashleigh was all ready for a 40K Vs Si, who couldn't make it for some reason. John played (was it Steve??) in a WFB tournament game (I think!) Mike was teaching Maurice some WFB with his Ogres vs Elves, Steve and Peter were playing thier sailing ship game, and there was some boardgame action with Ove in the corner. Dave  |

I am sure Steve has the actual results but Derek and Rob drew; 2:2 I think and John beat Steve but I dont know by how much.

As for Brian and my game. It actually looked promising for the gobbo's... to begin with- Fanatics doing a stalwart job. Rock lobber doing nicely. Even the majic was working......then the ogres actually got to mele range, and it was all over in a green puddle!

Didn't bother to count up VPs (lax of me I know  ), but it was only a knock-around to give Maurice a taste od the rules (and hopefully corrupt to ... er, that is demonstrate the advantages of fantasy ;D ;D) ......then the ogres actually got to mele range, and it was all over in a green puddle! Goblins in melee with ogres - was there ever any doubt  Dave, I think I'm busy next week (I'm pretty sure it's Maurice's D&D) but I'm free the week after (the 15 th). Are you free to get our league game in? |
