Well at least we have agreed to celebrate New Year on the same day as you people, though Christmas is a different matter... And let's not forget the Chinese who are having their own New Year at their own leisure, there's always someone not conforming to common regulations. ;D Anyway, I found out so far that the reason why we celebrate Christmas on the 24:th has got to do with the old Jewish Calender, I guess this is a bit more civilized than the pig sacrifices we used to have in Ye Olde Days (called Midvinterblot= Midwinter Sacrifice). The Swede.

Happy New Year Gladiators.
Although I did celebrate New Year on the same day as everyone else, I was in Budapest - so I suppose that's sort of different.

Hey, what's wrong with a pig sacrifice? Kill pig --> Roast pig --> Have big feast Sounds good to me!! Seems like you Jonny Foreigner types have one or two good ideas after all
