Hello All
I was in London yesterday for a meeting after which (as it went well) I decided to treat myself to something from forbidden planet.
I therefore picked up a copy of Hollow Earth Expedition which looks rather fun - it's a rpg with a jules verne / king kong /flash gordon kind of fast paced adventure feel.
Not had a chance to examine it properly yet. Anyone played it before?

Haha the club seems to be accumulating RPG's to try at a pretty impressive rate. I've never heard of that, but it sounds like it could be fun. Have you looked through much of it yet?

Beats me. But we had immensely fun with Space 1889 once and wouldn't mind playing this Hollow Earth Expedition rigamarole.
Or as my Constable Reginald Carruthers would express it (standing in the front firing his Webley revolver as calmly as if he was on a summer picknick): "Hrmph, I say old chap, looks like there's an awful lot of excitement going on over there. Sounds like people in distress. As representatives for the Empire, it's our sworn duty to deliver these poor individuals from their predicament. Mind that overgrown lizard Johnson, nasty teeths on that one."
The Swede.

Sounds interesting.
Space 1889 was also something I had looked at trying years ago, but I never actually got around to buying a copy. The whole steam-punk thing appeals to me quite a bit.
