Even though I'm still very new at this painting-miniatures-and-play-games-with-them thing, I've come to understand the addiction to it. Dave Wilkin once wrote: "You wouldn't believe my back catalogue." And it's becoming true to me too, although only 1,5 years in the Lead Painting Assimilation Process (LPAP) I certainly haven't accumulated an unsurpassable mountain of minis.
However, I still have got 15 Post-Holocaust minis left to paint out of 35 (they looked cool, gotta have 'em, even if I never will play anything with them, £50, what do you get for that anyway these days?). And a couple of days ago, on a slow day at work I cruised on Artizan Designs homepage and before I knew it I bought 6 more Wild West minis (who can resist the Earps and 3 mean looking outlaws, begging to be bought? Not me.) Even though I got more than enough of Wild West minis, repainting a few now that my technique's improved.
All in all, I'm happy as a pig rolling in mud!!! Somehow I wish I took this up many years ago, but I probably couldn't afford it then and with all my moving about in the world, they'd be a d**n right pain to shift.
