If no-one objects/ have other things booked, I'd like to play the Final Showdown on Monday 16/3. It's been a long journey and would be fun to conclude it. I've got to re-write the scenario specs, as I can't find the notes, but know what's going on.
Query: As this is going to be IT, have any of you veteran players any ideas how you can (potentially) fit in all 5 of us around 1 table and having a no-holes barred, all-guns blazing, bloodshed galore shoot-out?
If it's not going to be manageable, we'll make do with two tables, as originally intended. No worries.
Chapter Specs: One graveyard, possibly one abandoned mine as well. Dave's stagecoach as centrepiece on the graveyard. 6 graves/ markers per board. The winner will be the one who's getting off the most loot. NOT killing the other posse/ posses. If last posse is standing, the winner will still be the one who got the most loot of the board. If none got any loot off the board, then the one who got their hands on most loot before elimination. If no-one does that, THEN the victory falls to the last posse standing. Just trying to make it more interesting for the last time.
Hope you've all enjoyed the game, I certainly have enjoyed playing it.
Currently re-painting a couple of my minis for the last draw...

I'm up for that, would be good to get everyone on the same table.

I would personally like to play a multi way game, purely as I haven't actually had a chance to do this so far.
In terms of fitting everyone in I'd suggest we look at a larger table (maybe 6' x 4') in order to space out the posse's. I'd also suggest clustering the grave markers near the centre of the board so that while everyone starts apart they have to move together to gather the loot.
It might also be worth using some of the buildings around the outside edge of the table (the graveyard on on the edge of an abandoned town perhaps) in order to give people some initial cover to move onto the table from, preventing people from being picked off before they've got at least some distance onto the table.

I think there should be a decent amount of cover all the way in, otherwise the rifle's will pick everyone off.

I was also thinking along the lines of a bigger table, good and catered for then. The tiles are 2'x2', aren't they? In that case we could build it 3 tiles by 3 tiles (6'x6'). EPIC size! The six markers are going to be placed (by us) around the center of the board. Basically each one of us place one marker within a designated area. Sound suggestion to use buildings, natural foliage etc. Besides providing much needed cover for us non-Sharps Big Fifty toting lots it'll add to make a nice looking board. Dave: would be cool if you brought your camera down and took some "live" action pics for this Mastodont slugfest. See you then, slowest on the draw loose.

May I suggest we definately use a card deck to determine who has the drop. Then the turn moves in the order of highest cards, so making it random. The one danger with large games, is people waiting for thier turn and not having anything to do, so maybe mixing it up will mean at least the order of turn will change. Dave

Good point Dave. With 5 players relying on a simple roll of a die doesn't really cut it, as the stakes are pretty high a deck of cards are more appropriate. ;D I'll bring one then.
Oh, and doesn't the club have a graveyard scenery? We could smack that one down in the middle of the board, put six markers (does the club own any graves/ crosses?) in the scenery and voila! there we are. Seems big enough to put Daves stagecoach in as well. Just a thought.

I don't think the club has a grave yard....but I do!
