Want to play old game?

Hi Everyone,

I want to run an old (yes old) D&D as in TSR version original set (so not advanced or any silly 3rd to 25th or god knows what edition). I need 8 players and probably already have 3 so any willing to join in let me know.

Ok then, those of you I dont know will have to identify yourselves at the club as I have not been quite as neighbourly as I may have once have been, since I returned to the fold. We now have you four and at least three others so I am happy to look at scheduling and sorting characters.
I feel that one week in three is enough to not interrupt with too many other games? all ok with this?

Just the origional 3 books or with with greyhawk etc ?

Ah we have an uneducated mortal ..... nope the three books are AD&D (as is Greyhawke). We are playing Basic D&D within the original world (Thyatian and Alphatian Empires). All welcome though and hell it will be different if nothing else!!

Right it appears we have enough to move on with this now.
I currently have the following.....
Stephen: Mage
Iain: Mage
Kevin: Cleric
Hugh Cleric
Nigel: Thief
Andrew: Fighter or Elf (undecided)
Graham: Mystic
Maurice: Undecided (random apparently)
Ben: No idea as have not even met you yet
So thats nine players, respectable in any book.

I WILL be completing characters with those available over the next two weeks while sorting my other group out so we can all look at best date to get started. I am not sure what some of you are doing so if you could give me an idea of your next 3-5 weeks of plans at the club I can work it from there.....
