I assume we've all seen them, but is anybody else tempted by the plastic Perryfig late medieval types mentioned above? I thought they might not be a bad idea for a club game(given the right set of rules), anybody interested need only make a smallish force and the idea of the General making his plans only to find that on the day some of his "allies" have not turned up for the vulgar brawl is not too unhistorical. I have a leaning toward Condottieri era battles were uncertainties are even more likely, but might be persuaded to go for WOTR. The figures are more suitable for the latter because of all those d**n bowmen. Comments and criticisms gentlemen? P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, Mark. But I thought it better here than in the Ancient bit.

Dave B When I first saw this post I thought what has War of the Ring go to do with Burgundian and Condottieri ?!! Of course, its War of the Roses, isn't it !!! ? Like Dave (and Graham) I have medieaval figures in 15mm for FOG, but could be tempted by 28mm FOG. Martyn

Has anyone actually seen them yet? It is something that I could be tempted by.

Somewhere I've seen it suggested that for WOTR GW's WOTRing rules would make acceptable Late Medieval rules if used without the magic/fantasy bits. Can anybody confirm or deny this? DaveB
