Greetings and salutations!
After some time spent at home getting used to the new situation, I might actually be able to pop down on this Monday as relatives are visiting. Therefore I'd like to offer a game of M&M (superheroes). Anyone interested giving it a go are welcome as usual. If you wish to partake, give some thought to which kind of character you'd like to play (Iron Man, Batman, Superman, Nightcrawler etc). No homicidal maniacs who kill indescriminately please!! If you wish to borrow the rulebook (Mutants & Masterminds 2nd edition) for constructing your character, get in touch with either me or Stephen Mawson (I believe he got one as well). The plan is to start it all up a bit slowly and I'd like to run some more scenarios in the future, when family life permits, once a month or so...
I'm in no particular hurry, so the first session can actually be spent on creating the characters. It's point based and no dice-rolling involved. For those wanting to create their heroes at home the premises are Power Level 10 (150 Hero Points) and as per the standard rules with "trade-offs" on Attack/ Damage and Defense/ Toughness.
Welcome,
Ove.

Actually, a much easier way is to gather sometime during the week at my place and make the characters then, ready for the game on 7/12. The brain hasn't kicked in yet...

Nice to hear that everything is going well with you.
I'd like to take part in a M&M game on Monday, unfortunately I already have a game arranged for this Monday, I'm playing Mark in my final League game.
However if this is likely to become a regular game I definitely want to play in any following sessions, I'll probably keep the character I was using from last time round which ought to make things a bit simpler for you.

The plan is to make it fairly regular, but as I said, I'm not in any particular hurry to start it. I'll be more than willing to hold off the start until some other time when people are available. The plan is anyway to pop down to the club on 7/12 for at least a bit of socializing. If anyone wants to create a character then, I'll bring the stuff.
You're more than welcome to keep Shockwave Stephen ;D.
See you soon all.

I'll bring the rulebook, the world description and setting with me for anyone who wishes to create their character/ finetune one they've already got.
Could someone be so kind to supply some character sheets, three copies or so should do? My ink in the printer has run out.
The loose premises are that the heroes are based in the UK and will start out as individual heroes that (hopefully) will band together during the first session. Come up with a cool concept, preferably an Origin as well and we'll construct it with Hero Points.
Some Powers have changed or been added in Ultimate Power, mainly Animal Mimicry which is pretty lame in the rulebook but definately worth the 9-point cost in the sourcebook... I've got it in PDF so I might be able to take it with me.
See you there.
