Just a question, are we sticking to 1000pts per game with this, or could we play smaller/larger games provided people have the models?

I think if your opponent is up for a bigger game there is no problem. The main reason for the 1000 pt limit was 1) to allowpeople to build thier armies 2) so people could easily get the game in of an evening.
