Dave and I would like to give the Black Powder SYW game another go on Sunday; this is the game we are planning on taking to the MK show in May. We had a go at this last month and we were fairly happy with the overall feel of the game. If you are interested in joining in can you please let us know so that we have some idea of the size of game we can try on Sunday. Martyn if you are available could you bring your Prussians please; for the BP rules we made the units up to 18 figures but I think we would like to try for 24's with two standards; the cavalry are fine as 12's. Graham when I have seen what response we get I will be in touch re additional Russians and possibly Swedes. We could still do with a decent scenario if anyone has any ideas?

Keeping with last years tradition of fighting battles out of context, why not try something like picketts charge but 7yw? Put the Russians on the ridge? Dave

That is something we could consider if there aren't many of us but it doesn't really show of the movement element of the rules, or though saying that a good commander could have the attackers across the table and into combat before the defenders could react. Plus it would be useful to try out the cavalry rules a bit more.

I'm hoping to be there, but I'm on call so can't be 100% sure.

Any additional figures would be good it will give us some idea of the size of game we could put together. Still not sure how many people are going to turn up on Sunday.
