I shall of course be attending -- gaming AND free hog roast -- just you try and stop me ;D ;D Regarding games -- as I suggested here [ bedfordgladiators.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=news&action=display&thread=974&page=1], how about 2 or 3 smaller games to show off the range of club activities -- space permitting of course Yes, a WW2 participation game is a good idea -- certainly gets my vote, after all WW2 is a pretty constant fixture on most club nights However, that only demostrates one aspect of the club -- there's plenty more to show off How about a fantasy shirmish game, maybe based around the Mordhiem rules and/or some starship action using FT and/or anything else anybody can think of Yes, I'm aware that space is limited because the skittles team have nabbed half the room, but I think if we keep the games small we should be able fit more than one in. What do you all think? Can we run more than one gamr? And if so, do we want to?

Yes, I am thinking of a small level game, just a couple of squads a side on a 4x4 board...just enough to get the flavour. Dave

Yes, that sounds great -- that's game number one decided
If we're all happy with 4x4 boards (sounds fine to me), we should be able to fit in at least one more, maybe even two
So, any other suggestions people?

David
You can use my SS and Stug if you like - they are upstairs in the black A4 box

I'd be up for doing a starter set game of Warmachine, I have the Khador and Retribution sets and the model count is low enough that things should play pretty fast. 4x4 is the standard table size for Warmachine so it should work fine.
Edit: If any of the other Warmachine players out there feel like joining in, then the more the merrier, especially if you have the Menoth, Cryx or Mercenary starter forces.
Edit 2: Cygnar welcome too, of course!

That's great Mike -- as you say, the more the merrier
Also, if we have enough space, I'd be happy to run a small Full thrust just for variety -- say 1,000 pts per fleet, nothing bigger than a cruiser
Dave, any chance you could bring your NAC fleet down? -- I could put a game on without them, but it would look an awful lot better with them
On the same logic, if anybody else has a fleet to bring along (UN Maurice?) that would also be great

Edited for a typo.

That would depend on the cost!! and if the NE club lets us use the carpark....unlikely!
