Dear All
I'd like to guage the level of interest there is in playing Deathwatch 40k roleplaying. If there's enough interest then I'd be happy to run a campaign. I would be looking for between 3 and 5 players and would hope to meet every other week.
I'm not looking to start before late May / early June at the earliest, so plenty of time to bone up on the game system.
Let me know via this thread if you are potentially interested.
Thanks Martyn

Hello
How lucky is that?! Haven't logged on to the forum in a while! This would definitely tempt me back to the club - I'm definitely interested

"so plenty of time to bone up on the game system."
I know every game system has its 'fanboys' but that's taking it way too far...
Puerile jokes aside, Deathwatch does sound like a decent laugh. Bedford is a bit of a treck, but I think killing xenos scum as a space marine could make the drive worthwhile...

Ok guys... when I say 'bone up', I mean time for my age-adled brain to read and inwardly digest the gist of the rules.
Have Maurice, Chris and John as definite maybes so far.

I must apologise Martyn, I've never heard of 'bone up' (I had assumed it was an error, while intending to say 'hone up'). That said, few phrases sound more like they 'should' be rude Put me down as a yes, if that's alright, as long as I can be a marine from the Crimson Fists chapter.

If anyone is interested, Liber Mortis (online shop I've used before) are currently selling the rulebook (inc postage) for ~27.50.
I was shocked to discover that Crimson Fists weren't in the core rulebook (given that they have provided more deathwatch marines than any other chapter...). I'm sure we can work something out.

I'll probably go with Ultramarines. Although they are descendants of a different primarch; the Crimson Fists were founded from the more moderate members of the Imperial Fists.

Count me in as well.
I've been wanting to try one of the 40K RPG settings for a while now. I've got Rogue Trader myself, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet.
