Aren't we playing Shadows of Brimstone that week?
Anyway I shall take the opportunity next week to bring down one of my stack of boardgames I haven't played yet.
Anyone fancy playing Utopia, or Attika?

You might well be right Stephen In which case the next session will be 28th – basically, we miss a week
Happy to have a go at either of those boardgames

Anyone fancy playing Utopia, or Attika? According to my calendar, and checking with you guys you do this fortnightly. I have been on nights/ childcare so the next Shadows of Brimstone is Monday 21/11, correctly. And then 5/12 & 19/12. If that makes it easier for you to arrange your games. Ove.

Thanks Ove, that does help to clarify things – wouldn't want to clash with you
So, next Pathfinder session will be on 28th
Next Monday (the 14th) is now free for other things

Cheers, Ove.

That spell certainly would have helped in our last encounter. I wonder if there are any wizards in the local vicinity that Osric can copy this from in the downtime before our next task. It would probably be helpful to have a scroll on hand, just in case.
By the way, Steve, I'm still planning on coming down on Monday night, so you can add me to the list of people to try your boardgames.

Hi all
Sorry for being a bit lax, but I have now (finally) gotten around to working out the XP for your last scenario – as follows:
Encounter XP: 5,800 total divided by four of you = 1,450 Bonus story awards: 400 each
So each of you receives 1,850 XP
Enjoy

Thanks Mike.
If my maths is correct, that takes our total to 8152. Not far to go to get to the 9000 needed for level 4.

Just an update people,
Next Monday is Boxing Day and I am assuming that most of us will have other plans. This being the case I propose to skip that session entirely. So, unless anyone seriously objects, the next session will be on 9th Jan 2017
Also, just in case any of you haven't heard yet, we will be welcoming Elena to our merry band. She is currently building her character – last I heard she was thinking along the lines of a human druid.
So, Merry Christmas all and see you in the new year.
Mike

Hello everyone. And thank you Yes, it is correct, I am (trying hard to) building my Human Druid. The plan is to play a combat supporter druid who is weak (STR) but hopefully can empower the party. Well, that's the plan... Ciao ciao Elena

That's great Elena, Druids don't need lots of strength anyway, they are not really front-line combat characters. They tend to work best as support casters – standing back and lobbing spells around to buff their allies up and the like. Add in their ability to spontaneously convert any spell into a Summon Nature's Ally, and they can cause absolute mayhem if they have a mind to. Welcome aboard Mike

Evening all,
As promised, here is the XP for Monday's session
Encounter XP: 3,200 total divided by four of you = 800 each Bonus story awards: 200 each
So, you each have a nice round 1,000 XP to add to your total
Unless the rules of arithmetic have changed since I was at school, that gives you a grand total of 9,152 XP Which puts you comfortable into level 4 – so go ahead and level up (go on, I know you want to)
Next session is scheduled for the 23rd
Mike
