Level 4 Version of Freya is below! As discussed with Mike, I've opted to retrain Freya slightly converting her to a greatsword fighter. I felt this fits better with the sort of fighter the party currently needs and also means that Osric could (and would be most welcome to) cast enlarge person on her as much as he likes! Mike - do give this a glance over and check you are happy - I've not done anything controversial - just changed one feat and swapped about some equipment Her total wealth currently adds up to 3500gp If you are taking requests for treasure items which would be useful for Freya, the following would be top of her list: (these are suggestions rather than expectations or demands!) - masterwork composite longbow (ratcheted for +4 str modifier) - 800gp
- ring of protection +1 - 2000gp
- +1 Greatsword - 2350gp
looking forward to giving this adjusted build a try next week Chris

Hi Chris That looks fine – nothing too controversial there No real problems with the wishlist, except the bow which may be hard to come by Not that I have any problem with you having such an item It's just that I tend to give the villains equipment they can use (why would they carry some they can't?) and there aren't that may people who can use a bow that strong, so you may have to buy that one The ring and sword however are definite possibilities – stuff of around that value should probably be turning up about now anyway Mike

Great stuff, thanks Mike Of course an adaptive +1 composite longbow would do equally well......

I'm planning for Osric to start taking magical item creation feats at level 5 (provided he survives that long). I'll be getting two feats at level 5, so that will let me craft wondrous items and magical arms and armour. If we can hold out for a bit longer then I can start making items to order, provided that the royal bank of Kirino is willing to free up some party funds... I've also got my eye on a new transmutation spell for one of my level 4 picks, Masterwork Transformation, so if you just pick up a basic version of an item you want I can upgrade it when it's convenient, although I'd still need the cost of masterworking the item as the cost of spell components.

Hi Craig
That's perfectly fine – no problem with you making stuff yourselves Don't recognise that spell but I don't see a problem with it in principle
Regards Mike

Since we appear to be discussing magic items here's the list of stuff that Kirino would be happy to get her hands on (most desirable items first)
Belt of Mighty Constitution +2 Ring of Protection +1 Amulet of Natural Armour +1 Daredevil Boots Gloves of reconnaissance Quick runner's shirt
In terms of party funds we've currently got a little over 3,000 GP saved up. Mostly from the sale of opponents kit.
Maybe I'm forgetting some treasure gained, but it does feel like we're a little on the light side in respect of average character wealth. In theory we ought to have gained around 3,000 GP each by this point. I know we've picked up a couple of mostly discharged wands, and I think Osric spent a few hundred GP on scrolls. Plus we've now got that +1 sword, although if we're returning that to the Baron/Baron's ward then that doesn't count as treasure really. Have we picked up anything else I'm forgetting?

The only treasure I'm aware of which Freya has but isn't on my character sheet is her horse - assuming it is still alive and someone hasn't accidentally launched a fireball at it - launching fireballs should only be done as part of a preagreed plan - unless of course the plan has already fallen apart - in which case it's ok - I think we can all agree on that

I think you're right Stephen I haven't really been paying enough attention to this issue I shall try to throw a few extra goodies out in the next few scenarios to compensate

Hi all, I'm very sorry but work commitments will not allow me to have fun tonight. I won't make it even for 8 pm!
Mike I hope I'm not upsetting your plans too much.
A very sad Elena

With the omniscient viewpoint of the GM I predict that this is not a bright idea The encounters are all geared for a party of five Four could probable survive (if you are very clever) Three however sounds like a TPK waiting to happen And with only 1/2 hour free between getting home from work and leaving for the club there is, alas, not enough time to rewrite them I shall bring everything down tonight anyway on the off-chance that we can run See you all later

Oh no! Entirely understandable but as I was just in the mood to play some D&D tonight, could I offer to run something for 3 players instead perhaps?
I have a one night adventure prepped for 5th ed as it happens which I ran a few weekends ago. Minis and maps all ready to go.
Anyone fancy that? If so bring a level 2 5th editiona character - I'll have plenty of pregens available too.

Elena – no need to apologise – we are all aware the real life sometimes has a habit of getting in the way
Chris – I'd be up for that and thanks for stepping in at such short notice
