Maurice,
I have no problems with you playing a Gillman. Exactly the sort of person who'd be useful on an isolated tropical island.

A Gillman ranger should be a useful addition to the party. You can take Traits, also please get some armour and gear up for island life.

The joys of being a first level spell caster! But I did have a lot of fun see you in two weeks.

The joys of being a first level spell caster! But I did have a lot of fun see you in two weeks. The joys of first level in general, where even a primary fighter couldn't hit a barn wall from the inside. With an island full of goblin-monkey hybrids to contend with, I'm beginning to wonder at our chances of making it to the dizzy heights of level 2. All good fun nonetheless.

Let us hope they don't all have cave trolls! I concur – that would complicate matters somewhat If you give Saphia 8 hours rest, it could be arranged! You have to be careful around these particular trolls. They move silently... ps - have changed the discussion thread title to something more appropriate

The thought occurs that the Toughness feat is great.
Without it Saphia’s 151 years would have come to an end in last night’s session as she would have fallen unconscious in the middle of a swarm of cockroaches...

Agreed, Dumas would most likely not have survived the ankheg larva without. And even if, by some stroke of amazing good fortune, he got though that the cockroaches would certainly have finished him off.
Plus, the "emergency care" administered by his "friends" did not exactly help matters (dumping him alone and unprotected in the middle of an open field on -2 hit points, and after he had so selflessly soaked up most of the damage the ankheg had dished out – I ask you, is that really appropriate)

Hi Steve – Thanks for running the game last night it was a lot of fun. A shame that the mage was eaten by a cave troll.

I'm pleased that you're enjoying the game.
Looking forward to seeing how you all cope with travelling across the island to rejoin the ship.

A busy night for our heroic prospective colonists last night.
A not quite "Zombie", some very aggressive boars, and a monitor lizard.
Still you racked up some decent XP from your trek across the island. Everyone earned 720 XP last night, which puts you on 1,580 overall.
Now all you've got to do is discover whatever it is that is causing the Peregrine to be moving so slowly, so hopefully everyone is good at holding their breath as you inspect the underside of the ship.
That and persuade the remaining colonists on the Peregrine that they actually want to get off on this island.

A busy night for our heroic prospective colonists last night. Thanks Steve … what a fantastic night of Elven sword mastery by the mage and an unsurpassed display of tumbling by the fighter types. What could possibly surpass it next time?

what a fantastic night of Elven sword mastery by the mage .... Saphia remembers her decades long basic Elven combat lessons with a certain amount of hazy boring dread but she has to admit the lessons have come in handy from time to time.
