Frostgrave is the new fantasy skirmish game coming from Osprey in July.
Northstar are doing pre-order deals on rules and figs.
Anyone taken the plunge, or considering doing so ?

Looks good Martyn but I'm already committed to too many miniature game painting projects at the moment! I have Dreadball and a warmachine starter to paint and haven't touched the Deadzone stuff I bought at the games expo 2014

Seriously thinking about it -- again cash flow permitting
June is, unfortunately, a very expensive month for me -- MOT and car tax both due

I've just gone and ordered this – Level 5 wizard deal (rulebook, lots of figures, and assorted extra goodies)
OK – I'll admit it – I'm weak – just couldn't resist

I'm planning on going for the wizard level 4 deal. Just waiting on the sale of my Lord of the Rings dwarfs on ebay. Unfortunately I have a £100 speeding fine to pay as well ?

Damon
How are you going to know which wizard to pick ?

That's the snag!
I quite fancy a Summoner & the Snotling fancies a Necromancer, so I'll go for those (you can order individual wizards once you've placed an order for the Nickstarter).
If I then decide I want a different one, I'll have to buy it in later.
I can justify £40, £85 will eat into my 1983 british armour & I can't have that!!

Damon. Fully understand your reasoning. But have you decided based on what the models look like, or are you privy to some insider info. on how each type works ?

Hi Martin,
Only what's on the various forums TBH. With regards to the Wizards, just like the premise behind them - summoner can summon demons/creature, Necromancer - well, we all know what he does!! But given that you can use any old figure for the wizard, I'm not too focused on them.
I'm more interested in the plastic troops as figures, so the Level 3 with rulebook, plastic troops & 1 wizard plus freebies will suit me & I'll just order another single wizard for the Snotling. If I decide to use my "summoner" figure as an "enchanter" later on, or even use a totally different figure I already have, it won't be the end of the world!!
Phew - that was shorter when it was in my head!!
