Yarg springs his trap, charges round the corner and reaches in his pack. He brings out a large mouldy piece of cheese, chants in high pitched squeaky voice and hurls the cheese at the 'wizard with no name'. It explodes spelling a whiffy end for one of the nearby soldiers and heavily wounding others including the wizard himself (a grenade spell) Meanwhile the other half of Stephen's and Mike's warbands advance on each other

As Stephen's fog spells flitter in and out - only partially protecting his bear, Tsalut the Poor, Yarg's ambitious apprentice, directs the archers Wensley and Dale to shoot the bear. Several lucky shots later and the bear's roar becomes a whimper as it is mortally wounded (ouch!) After an epic hand to hand combat between the wounded wizard with no name and Gooda, the 7' tall Ratman barbarian, Gooda is left heavily wounded but the wizard is left without his head as it is sent sailing across the battlefield. Mike's warband is attacked from both sides and retreats. Stephen's band after several unlucky rolls is also left with very few men and surrounded by rats. Yarg lets the rest of the humans run away whilst he directs his minions to pick up the remaining loot. There will be much cheese eaten that evening!

Thanks for teaching me how to play Frostgrave last night very amusing. My book arrived today and I have already put together an army of ten battle hardened citadel orcs (no bears).

Looks like a cracking game and glad it's picking up at the club, seems a lot of fun, although not really my 'cuppa'. Very nice scenery Chris.

Myself and Chris are playing a game. So we may as well do what we did last week and set up one large table with two 3' square sets of tiles on them. That gives us space to accomondate two simultaneous games.

I've ordered a box of the Frostgrave Soldiers but I only need half of them. If anybody wants to buy the other half off of me for £10, let me know. We can just split the contents down the middle.

Never to be seen again as they go to the peak of Chris's "To Paint" Mountain.... D Harsh but indeed fair! Well, you know what they say You simply can't call yourself a wargamer unless you have at least one army that's still on the sprews two (or more) years after you bought it
