Evening all,
Since some of you don't keep track of your current XP totals here is the XP for the session (the approach to Logas).
Encounter XP: 1,920 each
Added to your current total of 32,319 XP Giving you each a total of 34,239 XP

I'm not going to make it down this evening. I'm not feeling too well and I'm supposed to be on an early start for work tomorrow, so I'm off to bed... Sorry to let you down guys.

Just to keep you all informed.
Club attendance was somewhat thin on the ground last – possibly not entirely surprising for the first session in the new year.
Our role-playing group was, to your credit, better attended than most. Nonetheless only three players (Stephen, Graham and Maurice) were present so, in the end, I did not run.
So you didn't miss anything guys.

Morning all,
Firstly an apology – while preparing for tomorrow's session I notice that I have not posted up your XP for the last session (sorry guys, my bad), so here it is now
Encounter XP: 19,200 Divided by 4 players: 4,300 each
Added to your current total of 34,239 XP Giving you each a total of 38,539 XP
Which is enough to take you all up to level 7 So you might want to do that now

Hi everyone, sorry to let you down again but I won't be coming down to the club tonight.
I've been in hospital this afternoon. Nothing serious but I really don't feel like going back out now that I've got home.
See you on Sunday.
Craig.

In last night's session the question of magic item slots for animals was raised. Specifically, Maurice wanted to know if he could give his horse a Ring of Protection (no you can't Maurice, but there are other options). The core rules give no guidance on this subject. However, I would say in general that an animal (or other non-humanoid creature) can be given an item if it's body shape includes the relevant slot. So, for example, you could give a horse magic armour or an Amulet of Natural Armour. In the interests of completeness (and because I got interested) I made a brief search of Paizo's site and found some help in the FAQs :- Click here and scroll down to "Can my animal companion, plant companion, or vermin companion wield weapons? Can it wear or use magic items?" You might also want to look at answer just above this ("Can my familiar wield weapons or use magic items?"). This also has a link to a player supplement (now apparently out of print but still available as a PDF) :- Pathfinder Player Companion: Animal Archive (PFRPG)

Afternoon guys,
I have not yet awarded XP for the last session (5th Feb)
This session was entirely role-playing – not combats &no defeated enemies Nonetheless some XP should be due
So, let's say 1,000 XP each (entirely arbitrator)
Added to your current total of 38,539 XP Giving you each a total of 39,539 XP

Alas, it is looking highly likely I will need to work tomorrow night.
Apologies to all but hope forewarning helps!

Sorry to hear that Chris, but thanks for letting me know
This means I may have to change my plans – I was kind of counting on the party's big hitter being present
Yes Stephen, I know you're in that category too, but certain types of opponent (which would be the logical choice here) are immune to your fire blasts

That's fine, having hit level 7 I've got more than one option for my blasts now, so fire res/immunity is less of an issue damage output wise.

Looking forward to the next session tomorrow! Freya is readying her new magic hat and her old magic sword. If I remember correctly we have some Hobgoblins to clear out of an ancient temple?
